Hartmann Donà, Donà Blanc Mitterberg Bianco IGP 2011

A fantastic white blend (Pinot Blanc 60% and Chardonnay 40%) from old vines in the mountains of north-eastern Italy, vibrant, luminous, with great depth and complexity. It is rather full-bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, showing aromas of ripe white peach and pear, herbal notes and a distinct hint of smoke. It has a very long, mineral finish. 13.5%. Drink now to 2023.

Serving suggestions: Great on its own for aperitif, but even better with food: vegetable risottos, dishes with creamy sauces, roasted poultry, hard cheese, Cantonese food
