Cave de Genève ‘Coeur de Clémence’ Gamaret AOC Genève 2018

Black berries and spices, with a touch of smoke. Soft, elegant tannins, long and spicy final. Venison, red meats.

Gamaret is a crossing created in Switzerland in 1970 between Gamay and Reichensteiner

Dark purple. Expressive and warm, with a nice structure and power. Black berries and spices on the nose, with a touch of smoke. Soft, elegant but present tannins give it body, the final is long and spicy.

Serving recommendations: This is a great wine with roasted or braised game. Its soft spiciness can also accompany well northern Chinese food, as long as excessive spicy heat is avoided.
