Cave de Genève’s top cuvée is a convincing example of a Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot) from western Switzerland.
Deep ruby red with purple hues, it is a generous, ample and harmonious wine judiciously aged in oak for additional weight and complexity. On the nose, aromas of blackberries and blackcurrant evolve subtly into spicy notes. Round and chewy on the palate, it has fine tannins and a long finish.
Serving suggestions: Venison, red meats, and cheese. Benefits from decanting.
