Clear ruby with a garnet rim, the Château Grand Renouil 2014 displays a complex and concentrated nose, with initial notes of ripe berries, red cherries and a floral touch, followed by toast, coffee and bitter chocolate. A few years in the cellar bring forth tertiary aromas of dried figs, plums, truffle and mocha. Full-bodied, its fully ripe fruit achieves a particularly good balance with acidity and alcohol. The tannins are gently integrated, with a lot of finesse and elegance, it has a very long finish with lingering cherry notes. A top end Right Bank Bordeaux, with real depth, complexity and intensity.
