This great Merlot from a privileged vineyard site on the Ormoz hill in the Valais shows aromas of blackberry and blueberry jam on the nose, with a touch of liquorice. Densely textured, with powerful but perfectly integrated tannins. Long, intense finish with a chewy, balsamic character.
Serving suggestions: Roasted or braised red meats, venison, matured hard cheese.
