Made from old vine Grenache (over 80%) with the addition of some Syrah and Mourvèdre. Intense and concentrated fruit of black cherries and fig jam, fragrant notes of dried aromatic herbs, eucalyptus and spice, complex and with a long finish. The estate’s flagship wine, this classical Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a beautiful expression of this unique appellation, delightful at a young age with its vibrant fruit, and developing additional layers of subtle notes over the course of time. Organic wine.

Domaine Duseigneur was established in 1967 by the Duseigneur family, who ha been growing vines for five generations in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Today their holdings cover 30 hectares planted with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre and split between the appellations of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Laudun appellations. Domaine Duseigneur’s wines are organic, and a biodynamic approach to vineyard cultivation has been pursued since 2004.

Serving suggestions: Perfect match with roasted meats (lamb!), oven-baked pastas and vegetables, aged cheese. Try also with Chinese/Cantonese food, fried chicken, char siew and especially Hong Kong roasted duck.
