A fine Tempranillo with sensitive oak aging, combining characteristic red fruit with notes of tobacco and spice. This is an organic wine.
Bodegas Vidal Soblechero in the renowned white wine region of Rueda in northern Spain practice organic viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar, to make wines naturally expressing their character.
In addition to their white cuvees, they also make red wine from selected grapes from the best sections of their Tempranillo plantings. The name of the wine, – C -, stands for Camino, a little road just outside the vineyard leading to a nearby ermita (hermitage). It is an artisanal production in very small quantities.
Serving suggestions: Soft yet characterful, it goes well with cheese, grilled pork ribs, mushroom soup, or paella.
